July 19, Mogilev.An intoxicated Mogilev resident persistently attempted to bribe traffic police officers. As a result, the 47-year-old driver became a defendant in a criminal case, the Mogilev Region Prosecutor's Office information service told BelTA.

On the night of June 11-12, she was driving while intoxicated.She was intoxicated and detained by law enforcement. The woman persistently attempted to hand over 250 Belarusian rubles and 5,000 Russian rubles to traffic police officers in exchange for not being held administratively liable. After being refused again, she left the money in the police car.

The Mogilev Prosecutor's Office accepted the classification of the crime under Part 1 of Article 14 and Part 1 of Article 431 of the Criminal Code. The prosecutor upheld the previously imposed preventive measure against the accused—a written undertaking not to leave the area and to behave properly.
