The national exposition of Belarus is presented at the China International Import Exhibition

November 5, MINSK. The national exposition of Belarus is presented at the CHINA International Import Exhibition (CIIE), which opened in Shanghai. it is reported by BelTA with reference to the website of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The food industry, information technology enterprises, as well as ministries, medical, scientific and research-and-production institutions and universities are represented, demonstrating products and services that may be in demand among Chinese consumers.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the stand of the Belarusian State Concern of Food Industry became the largest in the national pavilion. It presents products from 16 manufacturers of confectionery, ALCOHOL, oil and fat, brewing, SUGAR and canning products. The companies "Byman Biotechnologies", "Beltamozhservice", "Ekzon" also participate in the national exposition. Services to Chinese partners are also offered by the Ministry of Education, including state universities, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and a number of scientific institutes and research and production organizations, as well as the State Committee for Science and Technology.

As noted in the chamber, domestic companies participate in the national exposition of Belarus at the CIIE-2021 exhibition remotely. Employees of the exhibition company "Belinterexpo" of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry work in Shanghai, and if Chinese visitors are interested in the products or services of Belarusian enterprises, they connect the parties via video link. Thus, full-fledged business negotiations are provided at a prearranged and convenient time for the participants.

In addition, until November 10 inclusive, a virtual booth of Belarus made using 3D technologies is available for online visitors of the exhibition. The emphasis is on the investment attractiveness of the country, a favorable business climate, work in Minsk and other cities of world-famous companies, rich cultural traditions, the tourism sector and success in sports. China International Import Expo has been held since 2017. In 2019, it brought together 3.8 thousand companies from 180 countries. The total amount of signed contracts and protocols of intent exceeded $70 billion. The exhibition is accompanied by dozens of business events: seminars, conferences, business forums. The opening ceremony of CIIE is traditionally attended by heads of state and government members of many countries.
