About 80 unlicensed drivers detained on roads in Vitebsk region over the weekend

July 7, MINSK . About 80 drivers
without a license were detained on the roads of the Vitebsk Region over the weekend, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Over the past weekend, traffic police officers registered 75 accidents with material damage on the roads of the Vitebsk Region. Road guards also detained 20 drunk drivers and 78 drivers without a license. More than 640 drivers violated speed limits, 21 - overtaking rules.
In addition, 355 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules. Of these, 29 were in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication , 61 - without reflective elements.
