A man died under the wheels of a train in Gorodok district

December 17, Vitebsk. A man was mortally injured by a train in the Gorodok district. Such information is posted on the TELEGRAM channel of the Investigative Committee, BelTA informs.
According to investigators, tonight near the Ezerishche station, a train driver noticed a man sitting on a concrete platform near the railway tracks. He blew his horns and applied emergency braking, but the collision could not be avoided. The man died at the scene. As it turned out, he was a 51-year-old resident of the Gorodok district, he arrived by train to Ezerishche, where he bought ALCOHOL. After drinking alcohol, he came to the station and waited for a diesel train to go home.
Investigators have inspected the scene of the tragedy, appointed forensic medical examination. The incident is under investigation.
