A Minsk resident robbed a pensioner at the entrance of her house and spent the stolen money on alcohol

January 30, MINSK . A pensioner contacted special line 102 and reported that she had been robbed by an unknown person at the entrance of her house. Detainedthe thief told law enforcement officers that he spent the stolen goods onALCOHOL and food, BelTA was told by the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
When the police arrived, the victim clarified that at the exit from the store an unknown man approached her, asked for money, and then followed her to the house. Having followed the woman into the entrance, the attacker snatched a bag with money and documents from her hands, and then disappeared.
Within several hours, employees of the Partizansky District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital detained a 48-year-old Minsk resident who robbed the victim. it was established that the defendant threw the elderly woman’s bag into the trash can and spent the money on alcohol and food . A criminal case has been opened for robbery.
