The police revealed about 40 cases of theft from agricultural enterprises in the Gomel region

About 40 thefts were detected, BelTA was told by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

From the start of the sowing campaignLaw enforcement officers in the region visit agricultural organizations every day. They look at the methods and conditions for storing inventory, conduct preventive conversations about their safety, and monitor the physical condition of workers. The police also remind farmers about the legal consequences of improper performance of official duties, the commission of administrative offenses and criminal offenses.

“Preventing criminal attacks on the property of agricultural organizations is one of the priority tasks. Employees of territorial police departments regularly monitor the conditions of storage of inventory in agricultural organizations. As part of this, 39 thefts of property from agricultural enterprises were identified, 31 of which were committed by employees of the enterprises themselves ", - said the Internal Affairs Directorate.

Thus, a resident of the village of Skrygalov, Mozyr district, kept at home 35 kg of mixed feed, which he stole from the warehouse of the Krinichnaya experimental base. And at the place of residence of an insemination technician from the village of Bolotnya, 38 kg of feed was found, also stolen from his place of work.

The Department of Law Enforcement and Prevention of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee emphasized that being at the workplace during working hours isALCOHOL intoxication may entail both disciplinary and administrative liability. For theft of property of agricultural enterprises, not only administrative, but also criminal liability is provided.
