May 11, Minsk . Since the beginning of the year, there has been a downward trend in crimes committed by teenagers. BelTA was informed about this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"However, with the onset of the spring-summer season, when adults, leaving for summer cottages, leave their children unattended, more incidents occur involving teenagers. From May 6 to 8, several such facts were recorded that occurred at the place of residence of the victims," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. . So, in one of the cases, the guy ended up in intensive care with serious bodily injuries caused by acquaintances.
According to law enforcement officers, in fact, the accompanying cause of incidents is the use of ALCOHOL by young people in combination with electronic cigarettes, which are classified as psychoactive substances.
For additional measures to prevent the unlawful behavior of minors, police officers, together with teachers, will hold events in educational institutions. Their goal is to bring the causes and conditions that cause children to get into trouble. Law enforcers draw the attention of parents to the fact that the main factors in committing crimes involving teenagers are their lack of control and lack of employment in their free time.
