Labeling and traceability: which products are planned to be added to the lists

July 15, MINSK . The Ministry of Taxes and Duties has prepared a draft resolution of the Council of Ministers on the topic of labeling and traceability of goods, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Taxes and Taxes.

The document provides for the transition to labeling by means of identification for goods that are today marked in Belarus with unified control marks and decisions on labeling of which have been adopted in the EAEU . it is also planned to expand the list of goods whose turnover is subject to traceability.

In particular, the draft resolution provides for the exclusion of soft drinks, juices, mobile phones and laptops from the list of goods subject to marking with unified control marks, while simultaneously including these product groups in the list of goods subject to marking with identification means. The obligation to label the specified product groups with identification means is provided for from February 1, 2025.

Expansion of the list of goods, information on the turnover of which is the subject of traceability, is planned by including in it goods for which the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade plans to carry out pricing analysis through the automated “Price Analysis” system being created. The list of traceability from December 1, 2024 includes: dairy products , grocery products (tea, coffee , vegetable oil , FLOUR , cereals, pasta), cookies, gingerbreads, chocolate, footwear, household appliances (vacuum cleaners, irons, washing machines and dishwashers, food processors, microwave ovens, kettles, multicookers, hair dryers, electric kettles, drills, hobs), detergents for washing.

Business entities need to organize in advance the transition to identification labeling of soft drinks, juices, mobile phones and laptops, as well as the use of electronic document management for the circulation of goods that will be included in the list for traceability.

Recommendations for business entities are posted on the official website of the Ministry of Taxes and Taxes in the “Traceability of Goods” section. The timing of the issuance of identification means for marking goods will be announced additionally, taking into account the readiness of the operator of the state information system for marking goods with unified control marks or identification means of the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Publishing House "Belblankavyd".
