And the composition of sun-dried tomatoes in Organic vyalka oil exceeded the maximum permissible level of a preservative such as sulfurous acid (sulfur dioxide E220). By the way, the manufacturer “forgot” to mention its presence, as well as the fact that the use of a preservative can cause allergic reactions or may be contraindicated for certain types of diseases.
Gosstandart took measures to stop sales, withdraw from circulation, and ban the import of these products into Belarus. The validity of the declarations of conformity accompanying the products on the territory of the republic has also been terminated.
