January 31, MINSK. A collegium was held at the Internal Affairs Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee with the participation of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov, at which they discussed work with vulnerable categories of citizens and fraud prevention. BelTA was informed about this in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the discussion of the current operational situation, the minister focused on working with a vulnerable category of citizens. In his opinion, district inspectors should treat the elderly as if they were their own parents, solving their problems and taking care of them. Another important area is work with families on preventive records. People who abuse ALCOHOL and poison themselves with narcotic substances are not always fully aware of the consequences, and the preservation of their lives largely depends on the ability of law enforcement officers to find the right approach to addicts.
The Board noted that issues of prevention of fraud and cybercrime require increased attention. With appropriate warnings, you need to reach literally every door.
The HEAD of the department thanked the personnel of the regional police for their service. The collegium ended with the awarding of distinguished employees and teams. According to the results of operational activities for 2022, the Kopyl and Soligorsk district departments of internal affairs were recognized as the best units.
