How does the traffic police choose which car to stop? We asked the traffic police inspector about the work

A rare driver did not have to communicate with traffic police officers, and such meetings are most often exciting even for the most diligent motorists. On what basis do traffic police officers stop drivers on the roads? Are they offended by "traffic cops-gays"? Do girls drive recklessly and why do men sometimes cry? We learned everything from the first mouth - Vladimir Yurov, the inspector of the traffic police department of the traffic police department of the Moscow police department of MINSK, spoke about his work.

I came to the traffic police immediately after graduating from university. He graduated from BNTU with a degree in traffic engineering. I have been serving in the traffic police for 17.5 years. The hardest part of the job is probably the fact that you have to give all the holidays to her. But this is more, maybe not even bothering me, how many relatives. And the best thing is when people say thank you.

You have to deal with rudeness on the road, but not often. This is not even rudeness, but discontent. Still, drivers have to be brought to administrative responsibility, and they are unhappy. One will say thank you, and the second will leave with a disgruntled face. People thank you even when you write a fine. Some say thank you and leave.

"In case of a minor violation of traffic rules, we will limit ourselves to a warning"

The purpose of the State traffic inspectorate is not to punish the driver. In case of a minor violation of the Rules of the Road, the inspector can always limit himself to a warning. But this affects people differently: for some, a warning is enough, he is aware of everything and will never violate it again. There are times when you issue a warning, and then you meet the same driver with the same violation. And you tell him: "We already warned you. Do not be offended, but this time you will have to bring you to administrative responsibility."

The most serious offense is driving under the influence of ALCOHOL . No rights. Exceeding the speed limit. These are the violations that contribute to the increase in accidents. The penalties are strict, but, as practice shows, this does not stop some drivers. That is, the realization of what they have done comes after they come to the HEAD of the traffic police and he punishes them. That is, when they see it on paper, then the realization of what they have done already comes to them.

"When traffic police officers are called traffic cops, I'm not offended"

The traffic police always provides assistance to drivers and pedestrians who need help. Most of all, this happens in winter, when someone's car has stalled and needs to be "lighted up". In the summer there are also enough incidents. Cars break down, especially unsafe when it happens in the second or third lane. Drivers do not know what to do, some may not have a warning triangle. They will turn on the emergency gang and sit in the cabin, but there have been a lot of cases when other cars crash into these cars. Therefore, when we see that the car is on the emergency light signal in the second or third lane, we always turn around and ask what kind of help is needed, help to move the car into the rightmost lane.

Once, for example, we saw a vehicle in the third lane, a woman was driving. It was hot, there was a baby in the car with her. We turned around, stopped near her, approached, asked what happened. She explained that the clutch had broken, she had already called her husband, but her husband was still at work and could not provide assistance. My partner and I towed her car to a parking lot near the traffic police, and in the evening my husband took the car.

People call us differently: traffic cops, gays. I don't know about others, but I take it easy.

"It is more difficult to communicate with women, but more interesting"

Bribes, of course, are offered. A person always wants to avoid responsibility and offers a BRIBE to an official. But we have instructions for drivers in all vehicles, where it is clearly written that criminal liability is provided for giving a bribe to an official. When you tell the driver that you should not do this and you can be brought under the article, then this stops them.

It cannot be said that men are more reckless than girls. Some girls can even be more reckless. But in a state of alcoholic intoxication, more men still come across. But women are harder to deal with. Maybe female psychology? They behave differently. It's more interesting with them. They are more emotional. Even when you just issue a warning for a minor infraction, they may cry.

But men also cry - when they are caught in a state of intoxication. I had such a case. After examining and realizing what awaits him, he simply burst into tears, throwing out his emotions.

An unfastened child in the event of an accident just flies around the cabin

You can never get used to when children suffer. They suffer for various reasons: sometimes because of their carelessness, sometimes because of the carelessness of their parents, who find it difficult to buy a child seat. Parents do not even bother to fasten the child, and in the event of an accident, he simply flies around the cabin. Drivers do not think that they may not necessarily commit a traffic accident. Even a blow from behind - and the child will fly head first.

It happened when drivers talked on the phone while driving, but when they saw a traffic police officer, they simply dropped him. They didn’t put it somewhere - the phone just fell out of their hands, and they pretended that they were just driving and there was no phone in their hand.

"Some drivers themselves give a reason to be stopped"

How do we decide which car to stop? Sometimes it's just intuition. There is a stream, and you want to stop this particular car, for some reason you did not like it. Or the behavior of the driver was suspicious: some intuitively, seeing the traffic police inspector, try to rebuild further away, into a different lane. And we see that a person does not want to face a traffic police officer. That is, some drivers themselves give a reason to be stopped.
