May 17, MINSK. Changes in the state regulation of trade and public catering can be discussed at the Legal Forum, BelTA has learned.

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade invites from May 17 to May 27 to express their comments and proposals on amendments to the Tax Code of December 19, 2002, as well as to the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 8, 2014 No. 128-Z "On state regulation of trade and public nutrition" at the site of the Legal Forum of Belarus.

According to the justification of the document in a special topic, the amendments provide for the development of a draft regulatory legal act on the organization and implementation of trading activities, which provides for the exclusion of the concept of "large store" and the requirements for large stores, as well as the abolition of the need to coordinate with local executive and administrative bodies the mode of operation of trading centers, markets, shopping facilities and public catering facilities after 23.00 and before 7.00, with the exception of shopping facilities and public catering facilities in which alcoholic beverages are sold.

it provides for the abolition of the requirements for public catering entities engaged in public catering through the organization of a public catering network. It is proposed to clarify the definitions of individual terms, taking into account the practice of applying law No. 128-Z, to create additional conditions for the development of retail using the Internet, as well as to outline additional conditions for the development of domestic production and the provision of the consumer market with quality food products.
