A field training seminar on tactics and methods of inspecting emergency sites, on the facts of people dying in fires, was initiated by the forensic department of the USC in the Gomel region in cooperation with employees of the regional departments of the State Forensic Examination Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Situations . The interactive training was attended by investigators from the Gomel city and district investigation, the Dobrush and Vetka district police departments, inspectors from the supervision and prevention sector of regional emergency departments, and forensic experts.

The training intensive was intended for representatives of three departments. Target group - employees who serve less than four years. The seminar brought them together at the scene of a real incident in the village of Vysokiy Khutor, Dobrush region. Here in April of this year, during the elimination of a fire in a private house, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found a 52-year-old man with burns over 90% of his body. The victim later died in the hospital. Employees of the Dobrush Regional Distribution Committee conducted an inspection, according to the results of which it was established that the cause of the fire was careless handling of fire when smoking in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication .

“In the charred building, the participants of the seminar clarified the features of inspecting the damaged premises, establishing the place and mechanism of the initial combustion, detecting signs of a fire as a result of arson, as well as the procedure for seizing material evidence. expertise," said Maria Krivonogova.
