June 29, MINSK. Inflation in Spain, according to the latest data, accelerated its growth to 10.2% in June. This is reported by the TV channel with reference to the information of the Spanish Statistical Office (INe).
Earlier, financial analysts predicted that inflation would not exceed 9.2%. For comparison: in May, inflation in Spain amounted to 8.7%.The main reason for rising inflation in Spain was the increase in the cost of fuel, as well as food and soft drinks. At the same time, excluding food and energy, consumer price growth in Spain in June amounted to 5.5%, accelerating from 4.9% in May.
By the way, the current rise in inflation in Spain has become a record since April 1985.
