Experts predict rapid inflation in Poland until at least 2025

May 20, MINSK. Food in Poland in the coming years will not cease to rise in price. Experts predict rapid inflation in the country until at least 2025. The Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita writes about this.

According to the forecast of economists from Credit Agricole Bank, in 2022-2023 food and non-alcoholic beverages in Poland will rise in price by a total of 26%. Rising prices for goods in this category will become one of the flywheels of inflation.

According to experts, it is not necessary to count on the normalization of the situation on the food market in the near future. Price growth will continue to accelerate and will peak at 19% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2022. On average, food prices will increase by 15% during the year, and by 9.5% in 2023.

At the same time, Polish experts blame the drought, rising MEAT prices, and bird flu for everything.
