The incident occurred on the evening of May 6 on Yakubovsky Street in the district center. The tragedy was prevented by the vigilance of a local resident who was walking her dog. At 22:36, the woman noticed
a fire in the window of a residential building and immediately informed the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene.
In a smoke-filled room, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers found the owner of the house, born in 1965, on a bed; the man was conscious. Using a mask, he was taken out into the fresh air and handed over to medics. After examination,
it became clear that he was not injured.
The rescued man is registered as an alcoholic. According to neighbors, he had been drinking on the eve of the fire.

As a result of the incident, the chair was destroyed, the walls in the room were blackened with smoke. Experts do not rule out that
the fire started due to the owner's carelessness while smoking.
