June 15, Minsk . The State Customs Committee clarified whether the weight and cost characteristics of goods purchased in duty-free stores are taken into account when importing them into Belarus . BELTA reports this with reference to the official telegram channel of the customs authorities of Belarus.

“The weight and cost characteristics of goods such as ethyl alcohol, alcoholic drinks with an alcohol concentration of more than 0.5%, purchased both on the territory of foreign countries and in duty-free shops, are not taken into account in the total weight and cost of goods imported by individuals into the territory of EAEU . For this category of goods, the duty-free import rate in accompanied and (or) unaccompanied baggage is 3 liters,” the State Customs Committee noted.

Other goods purchased in duty-free shops by individuals (perfume , food ) arriving in Belarus are included in the total weight and cost of goods transported.
