November 22, MINSK. The Prosecutor General's Office of RUSSIA granted the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus to extradite for prosecution a citizen of Belarus who was caught drunk driving three times in a year and was hiding in Russia. it is reported by BelTA with reference to the information service of the prosecutor's office of the city of Minsk.

In February 2019, the accused was brought to administrative responsibility for driving while intoxicated . He was fined and suspended for three years.

Despite this, in November 2019, the drunk man got behind the wheel of a car again, after which he was detained by traffic police while driving along Leshchinsky Street in Minsk. And in December 2019, while intoxicated, he became the culprit of an accident on Kropotkin Street in Minsk.

After initiating a criminal case, the accused fled to Russia, so he was put on the wanted list. After studying the case materials, the prosecutor's office came to the conclusion that the accusation was justified, the evidence collected was sufficient, and the circumstances of the crimes were fully and objectively investigated.

The preventive measure previously chosen for the defendant, the prosecutor, sending the case to COURT, left the same - detention.
