Two schoolchildren in Novolukoml were detained while trying to escape in a stolen foreign car

July 27, Vitebsk. In Novolukoml, police detained two schoolchildren who were trying to escape from law enforcement officers in a stolen Opel. It is reported by BelTA with reference to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

Two guys on a foreign car were noticed at night by an outfit of the Department of Security. Right before the eyes of the law enforcement officers, an old car with no headlights turned on died out. When the policemen approached to find out what was the matter, Opel abruptly pulled away, turned into an alley, and then ran into a curb. As a result of the chase, both the driver and the passenger were detained. Both were in a state of intoxication . The guys, under the influence of a high-grade drink, were drawn to adventures, they decided to drive, and the car was stolen from the parking lot, picking up the key. For stealing a vehicle, a schoolboy and his friend became defendants in a criminal case.
