Two brothers rescued from a fire in an apartment in Smorgon

May 30, Grodno. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued two brothers from a fire in Smorgon. This was reported to BelTA in the Grodno Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The message about the incident was received by rescuers on May 29 at 13.55. A four-room apartment on the 1st floor of a nine-story residential building was on fire. During the fire, two brothers, both unemployed, were rescued and delivered to the central regional hospital. The owner of the apartment was hospitalized with thermal burns of 2-3 degrees of the left forearm, both men were diagnosed with ALCOHOL intoxication.

Bedding was damaged as a result of the fire. The cause of the incident is being established. Emergencies Ministry employees urge everyone to follow fire safety rules and be extremely careful in handling fire.
