
November 1, MINSK. Over 350 traffic violations by pedestrians were revealed by employees of the capital's traffic police over the past weekend. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
"The traffic police inspectors revealed 353 cases of traffic violations by pedestrians, as well as 44 drunken pedestrians. 187 drivers were held accountable for not giving advantage to vulnerable road users," the traffic police said.
In addition, 18 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated , 123 were fined for speeding.
Employees of the traffic police prevented 81 facts of driving vehicles without rights.
Over the past two days, 117 accidents have been registered, in which three people were injured.
