Law enforcement officials inspected more than 160 agricultural enterprises in the Gomel region. What violations were discovered?

During the harvest season, police officers are paying close attention to ensuring the quality of work in the agricultural sector, as well as preventing attacks on agricultural enterprises' inventory and instances of mismanagement. 

Police raids are ongoing. Monitoring teams verify compliance with labor discipline, inspect storage areas for inventory, and pay special attention to the safety and technical condition of agricultural machinery.

"Currently, 161 enterprises have been inspected, examining more than 27,000 pieces of equipment. The most common defects include faulty locking devices, damaged fences that do not restrict unauthorized access, and other factors that could facilitate theft," the department explained.

For example, economic crime prevention officers check the actual availability and condition of equipment against accounting records to ensure everything listed on paper is in place. 

Police also assess the physical condition of employees, as violations such asAlcohol intoxication in the workplace is unacceptable. Traffic police officers are reviewing pre-trip and post-trip inspection logs, breathalyzing procedures, and issuing waybills at farms.
