June 27, MINSK. The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea took part in the Import Goods Fair (IGF) in Seoul. This was told to a BelTA correspondent in the Belarusian diplomatic mission in the Republic of Korea.

The Belarusian stand featured linen fabrics, leather goods, confectionery, alcoholic beverages, potato chips and other food products, as well as catalogs and brochures on the EXPORT, educational and investment potential of Belarus.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrey Chernetsky took part in the opening ceremony of IGF-2022 and held talks with the Chairman of the Korean Importers Association Kim Byung Kwan, Korean and foreign officials, business representatives and heads of diplomatic missions in Seoul.

The exposition is annually organized by the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). This year's exhibition on June 23-25 ​​was held under the slogan "Return to Business" and was aimed at resuming business contacts between South Korean and foreign partners after the covid-19 pandemic .
