April 21, MINSK. In the first quarter, Belgospischeprom increased production by almost 14.7% compared to the same period last year, the concern's press service told BelTA following a meeting of the concern's council with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zaits.

"Sanction pressure on Belarus is constantly increasing. Today is not easy for everyone. But for us, this is a time of opportunity. And given the reduced imports and the withdrawal of foreign companies from our market, we have the opportunity to replace these products with our own, domestic ones," said Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats in "Therefore, enterprises face a very specific task - to show results no worse than last year."

Marina Mikhaltsevich, Deputy Chairman of the concern, made a report on the results of the work of the concern's enterprises for the first quarter of 2022. In January-March of the current year, the volume of industrial production in base year prices (BFI) was at the level of 104.1%. Products were produced for Br737.5 million, the growth rate was 114.7% compared to the same period in 2021.

The production of vegetable oil increased by 19.5%, margarine - by 7.8%, mayonnaise - by 8.5%, FLOUR confectionery - by 18.7%, food SALT - by 31.7%, baby food - by 20.9%, vodka and alcoholic beverages (LVI) - by 9.8%, beer - by 41.1%.

In January-February 2022, the volume of exports by the concern's organizations amounted to $50.5 million.

EXPORT deliveries of molasses increased by 2.7 times, soft drinks, waters, nectars, kvass, etc. - by 2.2 times, flour confectionery products - by 1.6 times, soap - by 1.5 times, vodka and liquor - 1.4 times, sparkling wines - 1.4 times, food concentrates and potato products - 1.3 times, ketchup - 1.2 times, chocolate and chocolate products - 1.1 times, yeast - 1.1 times times.

Work continued to diversify the export of goods. One of the main sales markets is the Russian Federation. In January-February 2022, goods worth $22.2 million were delivered to this country, which accounted for 43.8% of the group's total exports. The concern managed to increase the supply of products to such countries of the European Union as Hungary (by 3.2 times), Germany (by 2.2 times), Estonia (by 1.9 times), Lithuania (by 1.6 times), Latvia ( 1.5 times). Deliveries to Israel (by 8.2 times), Norway (by 2.8 times), Moldova (by 2.3 times), Georgia (by 2.3 times), Uzbekistan (by 1.5 times), Armenia (by 1.1 times), Azerbaijan (1.1 times). In January-February, alcoholic products were shipped to the Nigerian market for a total of $22.8 thousand.

In the period under review, the enterprises of the concern have a positive balance of foreign trade in goods - plus $18.7 million.

In January-February 2022, the average monthly salary for the group as a whole amounted to Br1425.3, the growth rate against the corresponding period of 2021 was 116.5%. Organizations employed 32 people for additionally introduced jobs.
