Fire prevention action to be held over the weekend in Starodorozhsky district

November 25, MINSK. A large-scale fire prevention campaign to prevent fires and deaths from them will take place on November 26 and 27 in the Starodorozhsky district. BelTA was informed about this in the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The participants of the action will include inspection commissions, cadets and teachers of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, representatives of the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, personnel of the Starodorozhsky District Department for Emergency Situations. Raid groups will go to Novodorozhsky, Yazylsky and Starodorozhsky village councils. it is in these areas that an increase in the number of fires and people killed from them is observed. Since the beginning of the year, 29 fires have occurred in the district (in 2021 - 20), from which 9 people died (in 2021 - 1).

Specialists examine households, remind residents of the algorithm of actions in case of emergency, talk about the importance of installing an autonomous fire detector in living rooms, and present visual fire-fighting visual products. Particular emphasis is placed on addresses where lonely and lonely elderly citizens, people with disabilities, large families and people who abuse ALCOHOL live. The focus is also on non-working citizens of working age.

Rescuers urge: bring your homes to a fireproof state and help your elderly relatives do it. To do this, repair stoves, replace dilapidated electrical wiring, do not operate faulty household appliances, be extremely careful when smoking.
