In the Tomsk region, farms of all categories stocked 410.8 thousand tons of roughage for the winter (this is 144.5 thousand tons of feed units) and 73.4 thousand tons of succulent feed (12.2 thousand tons of feed units). The supply of livestock with feed is 28.4 centners of feed units per conventional HEAD or 108% of the requirement.
For the winter-stall period of 2023-2024, agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) farms have prepared 30.9 centners of feed units or 104.3% of the plan per conventional head. This season, 65 thousand tons of hay were harvested (102.7% of the plan). Haylage – 152.2 thousand tons (114% of the plan). Grain haylage – 86.3 thousand tons (99% of the plan). Silage - 60.8 thousand tons (112.2% of the plan). Straw - 12.6 thousand tons (83.3% of the plan).
As Svetlana Dyusembayeva, deputy chairman of the production committee of the department for socio-economic development of villages in the Tomsk region, explained, during November-December 25.9 thousand tons of feed units were spent on feeding livestock. 4.7 centners of feed units were spent on one conventional head.
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution SAS "Tomskaya", 15 farms in the region conducted a study of the quality of prepared feed. 70.7 thousand tons of haylage were analyzed, this is a third of the harvested amount. 81.4% of the studied volume of haylage belongs to class 1-2 in quality. 4 thousand tons of silo were checked, all silage is class 1.
