According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, under the Agrostartup program, more than 60 farmers got the opportunity to create and develop peasant farms through grant support.
The amount of state support exceeded 179 million rubles. Thanks to the implementation of this program, more than 100 new jobs have been created in the villages, and more and more locally produced products appear on the Tambov shelves.
The Agrostartup program is being implemented as part of measures to create a support system for farmers and develop rural cooperation of the regional project "Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses", which is part of the national project "Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives".
“The Agrostartup program has become one of the effective mechanisms for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, which helps a large number of families involved in the agricultural production process stay in the countryside,” said Maxim Egorov, HEAD of the region. - The products of small and medium-sized producers are always in high demand, and the opening of such farms is no less important than the implementation of large projects. And the main factor stimulating the opening of new small industries in the countryside is state support. This year, a total of 63 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the program, including 61.8 million rubles from the federal budget.
