Greenhouse plant "Yaroslavsky" continues to increase production volumes. Last year, more than 17 thousand tons of cucumbers and lettuce were grown here, which is 16% more than in 2020, and they are not going to stop there.
“The use of advanced, modern technologies for growing plants using constant, adjustable year-round lighting makes it possible to provide environmentally friendly products not only to our region and neighboring regions of the Central Federal District, but also to virtually the entire target audience of the Volga, Urals, Siberia, Caucasus and the north,” said the Deputy DIRECTOR of the Department of Agro-Industrial complex and consumer market of the Yaroslavl region Valentina Shishina. “The products of the greenhouse complex are sold in large federal retail chains and in regional markets.”
One of the important areas of work of the greenhouse economy is the cultivation of potted roses. This work has been done here for 5 years. This type of product is sold in federal networks and is in great demand, so in May last year the company began upgrading existing facilities to expand production. In November, the first stage was completed, as a result, production by the end of 2022 is planned to almost double - up to 4.2 million pots. According to the results of the second stage of reconstruction, which is scheduled to end in October, the output is expected to increase to 6 million pots per year.
"Anti-Russian sanctionswe were not affected,” said Dmitry Malanov, HEAD of the enterprise’s sales department. – We continue to ship goods to all networks and end consumers. We ship our products all over the country, supply all of RUSSIA - from west to east, from north to south. Now we are negotiating with customers who are in Khabarovsk, and soon the Far East will also be able to enjoy the roses of our production.”
In 2021, the enterprise received 23.6 million rubles of subsidies from the regional and federal budgets to reimburse part of the costs of paying interest on investment loans and for the production of greenhouse vegetables.
This year, enterprises in the region can also receive state support, the list of measures of which, thanks to the work of the regional anti-sanction headquarters under the leadership of Acting Governor Mikhail Evraev, has not only not been reduced, but even expanded. In particular, companies are provided with preferential loans for current and investment purposes, leased equipment at preferential rates of 6 and 8%.
