The HEAD of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on his page on social networks, said that today the republic's grain growers have harvested the first million tons of grain. So far, less than a fifth of all fields have been threshed.
The head of the region noted that the year turned out to be productive, and not only in the traditional grain-growing zones, but also in the Trans-Urals and the northern forest-steppe.
“Now the main thing for us is to collect this wealth. The weather is still suitable for this, although there are some peculiarities. Due to the large difference between day and night temperatures, abundant dew falls, it does not allow our villagers to go out to the fields early in the morning, as they are used to. Most of the work is done during the daytime. Here are our leaders. More than 100,000 tons of grain were threshed in the Sterlitamak district, and about 70,000 tons in the Ilishevsky district. Sterlitamak farms also show better yields - more than 47 centners of grain are harvested from each hectare,” Radiy Khabirov wrote and wished everyone good luck and a good week.
