"All-Russian Field Day - 2021" will present the advanced achievements of the country's agro-industrial complex

On August 12-14, 2021, the All-Russian Field Day will be held in the Sverdlovsk Region - the largest review of the achievements of the domestic agro-industrial complex in real field conditions. The event will present a wide range of modern agricultural machinery and equipment for the agro-industrial complex, as well as the latest developments in the field of breeding, agrochemistry and plant protection. The large-scale open-air exhibition complex includes experimental fields, demonstration plots and testing grounds for advanced models of equipment.

Also, as part of the All-Russian Field Day, an extensive business program is planned, the central part of which will be a plenary session chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev. Its participants will discuss strategic tasks in crop production and tools for their implementation in 2021, as well as issues of scientific support and technical modernization of the industry. The broadcast of the meeting will be available on the websites of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the exhibition. In addition, events will be held on the prospects for the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex, the production of organic products, the issues of improving soil fertility, the development of land reclamation and other relevant topics.

Particular attention will be paid to the role of women in the development of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas. This issue will be considered in a separate block of the program with the participation of women entrepreneurs and leaders of agribusiness. Another significant topic will be providing the industry with young personnel: sessions on new professions in the agro-industrial complex, training specialists and attracting young people to the agricultural sector will be held in the pavilion with representatives of agricultural universities.
