All districts of the Voronezh region have begun sowing winter crops

As of September 6, the autumn sowing campaign began in all districts of the region. 104.6 thousand hectares have already been sown.
For the 2024 harvest, 167.7 thousand tons of seeds of winter grain crops are needed. it has already been procured in excess - 183 thousand tons or 109.1% of the plan. The accumulation of mineral fertilizers continues as usual. The need is 140.2 thousand tons in physical weight, 115.6 thousand tons or 83% of the plan have already been accumulated.
Now weather conditions allow sowing of winter crops in optimal scientifically based periods. In total, it is planned to sow 768 thousand hectares of arable land with winter grains.
