For the first time, the Moscow region exported more than 130 heads of breeding young cattle of the dairy direction

The agricultural enterprise of the Moscow region exported to Kazakhstan more than 130 heads of breeding young cattle. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Sergei Voskresensky.

“The Moscow Region is developing the EXPORT of breeding young dairy cattle. The Zelenogradskoye breeding plant in the Pushkin city district of the region sold 130 heifers for export to Kazakhstan,” said Sergey Voskresensky.

JSC "Zelenogradskoe" - a breeding plant near Moscow for breeding Holstein cattle. Its main activity is dairy farming. This is a full-fledged closed-loop livestock farm that also processes MILK. The milk processing cycle begins at the enterprise from its own production of containers to ready-to-ship products such as milk , kefir, fermented baked milk, curdled milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, soft cheese and butter. About 10 robotic milking systems are installed at the complex.

“We sold dairy cattle for export for the first time. Previously, only beef cattle was exported. All sold Holstein heifers,” said Sergei Voskresensky.

According to the minister, Zelenogradskoye is constantly increasing the number of cows. To date, the total herd of the breeding farm is about 3 thousand cattle.

Sergei Voskresensky added that this year the agricultural enterprise became the winner in the contests "Best Product" and "Best Enterprise of the Year" at the 28th international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production "Prodexpo".
