The issues of digitalization of livestock breeding were discussed at a meeting in the Kaluga Ministry of Agriculture

The digitalization of agriculture is the most important condition for ensuring the efficient operation of agricultural producers in the face of increased competition in the agricultural market. The choice of it solutions is determined by a number of parameters in order to ensure maximum compliance of the product with the specifics.

Taking into account the specialization of our region in dairy and beef cattle breeding, the focus is on digital solutions for these industries.

Particular attention is paid to livestock breeding, on the level of which both qualitative and quantitative indicators depend.

The basis of the foundations is the digital accounting of breeding and commodity animals. Its implementation will ensure control of the availability, quality and movement of animals in order to form a competitive domestic breeding stock, identify, improve the quality of breeding, zootechnical and veterinary records.

The introduction of digital products into the work of breeding farms was the subject of discussion at a meeting in the Kaluga Ministry of Agriculture. Developers of IT solutions held a presentation of products for regional experts from our ministry and Kalugaplemservice. Regional specialists noted the high potential for increasing the efficiency of the region's breeding farms, which will be revealed through the digitalization of processes.
