Vologda confectionery products began to be exported to China and Turkey

Expanding the EXPORT market of Vologda products is possible thanks to the regional program “Export of Agricultural Products” of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin .
“In 2023, Vologda confectionery products were supplied to 15 countries near and far abroad. CHINA and Turkey became new export routes . Last year, confectionery products were sent to these countries for the first time. In total, in 2023, more than 7 thousand tons of Vologda sweets were exported,” said Acting Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov.
In the structure of the total export of confectionery products in the Vologda region, 73% is accounted for by the export of FLOUR products, 26% by chocolate products and 1% by SUGAR products.
Let us remind you that about 50 enterprises produce confectionery products in the Vologda region. Industry leaders are the companies “Russian Biscuit”, “AtAg” and “Confectionery Factory”.
