Spring field work started in Karachay-Cherkessia

Enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the republic have started spring field work.
Recall that this year, in accordance with the approved structure of sown areas, farmers will have to sow crops on an area of ​​125,000 hectares.
Basically, these will be traditional grains and legumes, sunflower, potatoes, SUGAR beets, as well as wheat, grain corn and others.
Winter crops have already been sown on an area of ​​17.54 thousand hectares.
Now farmers have started sowing spring crops.
To date, spring wheat, spring barley, corn for grain, sugar beet, sunflower and potatoes have been sown in all regions of the republic on an area of ​​more than 5,000 hectares.
Agricultural producers of the region are provided with seed material for spring sowing by 98.3%. it should be noted that the share of seeds of domestic production is 82%. Seed farms operate in the republic to provide the sowing season with high-quality seeds.
One of the major producers of seed material is SSC Hammer LLC, which produced and sold more than 10 thousand tons of seed material in 2022.
It is also worth recalling that the Ministry of Agriculture of the KChR provides programs to support agricultural producers in certain sub-sectors of crop production, including the reimbursement of part of the costs of work related to seasonal agricultural work.
Farmers can count not only on financial support (reimbursement) of part of the costs of agrotechnological work, but also on the purchase of seed.
