Winners of the Agrostartup competition have been determined in the Volgograd region

23 projects have become winners of the Agrostartup competition — beginning farmers with state support will be able to expand production capacities or create new farms.
63 applications from applicants from 24 districts of the Volgograd region were submitted for consideration by the competition committee. The applicants' business plans include breeding cattle and small cattle for MEAT and dairy productivity, and developing fruit growing. Following the review, 23 projects were recognized as the best — the winners will receive from 2 to 5 million rubles to implement their business initiatives. The total amount of support will be 90 million rubles.
Among the winners are also participants in a special military operation. After being wounded, they improved their HEALTH and plan to engage in livestock farming in their native village. Thus, Yerbulat Isingulov from Nikolaevsky district plans to use the grant money to purchase 20 heads of meat heifers and a tractor, which will be a good help for an existing farm that contains 10 heads of cattle , has the necessary outbuildings, a plot of land, and equipment.
Another hero of the SVO, Aleksandr Tarashevsky, lives in the Kalachevsky District. He plans to use the grant funds to purchase 13 dairy heifers and agricultural machinery. Currently, Aleksandr has 8 farm animals, a tractor, and a plot of land. By the way, he is already studying agricultural science at the Farmer's School.
Let us recall that special attention is being paid to participants in the special military operation today. Since 2025, a new type of support has been provided for combat veterans — "Agromotivator". Individual regions, including the Volgograd Region, took part in the federal program. The first recipient of this grant in our region was SVO participant Vladimir Antonov from the Surovikinsky District. He plans to use the grant funds to purchase 14 dairy heifers, a wheeled tractor, and attachments.
it should be noted that beginning farmers of the Volgograd Region have been receiving state support for the creation and development of farms in the "Agrostartup" direction since 2019. During this time, the state supported 146 recipients for a total of 488.5 million rubles.
