The number of pigs has increased in the Tomsk region

In the Tomsk region, on February 1, 2022, the number of cattle in farms of all categories amounted to 75.3 thousand heads, pigs - 272.1 thousand heads, poultry - 4287.8 thousand heads.
Compared to February 1, 2021, the number of pigs increased by 4.3%.
In January 2022, 12.8 thousand tons were produced for slaughter of livestock and poultry (in live weight), which is 3.2% more than in January 2021. Egg production increased by 7.9% and amounted to 10.9 million eggs. MILK production for this period amounted to 10.3 thousand tons.
