More than 60% of the crop harvested in the Tomsk region

The farms of the region harvested 283.6 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops from an area of ​​102 thousand hectares, which is 61.6% of the plan. The average yield at the moment is 27.8 q/ha. This is 5.7% higher than the yield at the same date in 2020.

All winter crops have been removed from the fields - rye and wheat, triticale. Pea harvesting is in the final stage - 94.1%. 86.5% harvested barley. Half harvested spring wheat and oats.

The leader of the harvesting campaign is the Kozhevnikovsky district. 126.3 thousand tons of grain and legumes have been harvested here (71.1% of the plan). The average yield in the region is 29.1 q/ha. An even higher yield - 34.4 c/ha - is shown by the Shegarsky district. The Krivosheinsky district is doing well (27 centners per hectare).

Preparation of seeds of grain crops for the future harvest has been carried out by more than two thirds - 29 thousand tons of seeds (67.2%) have been poured into barns at the moment.

It should be noted that the sowing of winter crops is in full swing. 14.4 thousand hectares (73.6%) were sown.

The harvesting work is nearing completion. 28.8 centners of feed units were prepared for one conditional head (92.5% of the plan).

At the same time, in the districts of the region, plowing is being prepared - more than 40 thousand hectares of fields (29.6%) have been plowed for spring sowing.
