The 47th competition for artificial insemination operators for cattle was held in Tatarstan.

The 47th Republican Competition of Cattle Artificial Insemination Operators was held at the Elita State Farm in the Vysokogorsky District .
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan ,Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov, General DIRECTOR of JSC State Enterprise "Elita" Fannur Zaripov, and students from agricultural universities and colleges participated in the competition. A total of 69 specialists from 43 districts of the republic participated in the competition.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Artificial insemination is the basis for herd reproduction in livestock farming, as it is the most important technique for increasing genetic potential and improving the quality of animals. The republic has a good tradition of holding an annual competition for cattle reproduction technologists.
"This year's 47th competition is being held in memory of Mansur Gabdrakhmanovich Kharisov. "He made a significant contribution to the development of livestock farming in the Republic of Tatarstan, introducing artificial insemination, improving selection and breeding work, and creating highly productive herds. He became the founder of embryo transplantation in the Republic of Tatarstan," noted Marat Zyabbarov.
According to the minister, 503 livestock reproduction operators work in the republic. In 2024, 251,700 calves were bred, 347,500 cows and heifers were inseminated, and 331,500 HEAD were artificially inseminated. Artificial insemination coverage is 95%.
Aliya Romanova from Serp i Molot Agrofirm LLC in the Vysokogorsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan became the overall champion of the 47th Republican Competition of Cattle Reproduction Operators.
Anastasia Mikhailova from Molko-Drozhzhanoye LLC in the Drozhzhanovsky District took first place in the "Youngest Specialist" category.
Favziya Bayazitova from Agromir LLC in the Yutazinsky District won the "Veteran Technologist" category.
Lyudmila Gimadieva from Sarman Agricultural Farm, Leshev Tamak Farm in the Sarmanovsky District, took first place in the "Artificial Insemination in Agriculture" category.
Lenar Shakirov from Sizinsky Farm in the Arsky District took first place in the "Artificial Insemination in Private Farms" category.
Lenar Shakirov from AK Ak Bars LLC in the Arsky District took first place in the "Practical Use of Ultrasound" category.
Svetlana Panzhukova (Buinsky Veterinary College) won the student award.
