The Tambov region will host a festival of craft cheese "ProSYR"

This coming Saturday, July 23, in the park of the village of Streltsy, Tambov region, the festival of handicraft cheese "ProSYR" will take place.
The festival will be held under the auspices of the 85th anniversary of the Tambov region and will bring together not only local cheese makers, but also cheese masters from Voronezh, Lipetsk, Ryazan and the Moscow region.
Gourmets will be able to taste the most exquisite varieties of cheese, learn about the peculiarities of their preparation, and vote for their favorite product at the cheese contest.
The cheese competition includes four nominations: "People's Cheese", "Professionals' Choice", "The Most Creative Cheese Maker" and "Grand Prix".
The organizers provided an opportunity for all participants of the festival to choose the winner in the nomination "People's Cheese".
The festival program includes: master classes, an exhibition and sale from artisans, the operation of playgrounds, a picnic area, a performance by the Moscow clown theater "High Brothers".
In the evening, a festive concert will take place, where both Tambov creative teams and artists from other regions will perform. Fireworks will culminate the event.
Recall that the first cheese festival of the Tambov region was held in 2019. it was attended by farmers of the region, presenting their products.
