Specialists of the department of state veterinary supervision of the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region in April of this year carried out supervisory activities with the prosecutor's office of the Dubensky district of the Republic of Mordovia in the field of enforcement of legislation in the organization of meals for students in schools.
The reason for these measures was the detection of listeria monocitogenes in the samples of poultry products from one of the poultry farms of the republic, which is the causative agent of the disease of lysisteria, which is especially dangerous for humans.
Based on the results of supervisory activities in the schools of the Dubensky district, samples of poultry products were taken for food safety research with subsequent shipment to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsNMVL".
