A new farmers' market has opened in the Shegarsky district of the Tomsk region

The solemn opening of the farmers' market took place in the Shegarsky district of the Tomsk region. A new trading platform was opened by members of the Pobeda agricultural production cooperative.
The opening was attended by the HEAD of the Shegarsky district Alexander Mikhkelson, the head of the Pobedinsky rural settlement Viktor Selivanov, representatives of the Tomsk Cossacks and, of course, local residents.
- The market is located in a geographically convenient place - near the fork in the road, next to the intercity highway. In Rus', since ancient times, fairs have been organized in such places. And no one could get past. We hope that our farmer's market will become a popular and beloved trading platform, - Olga Cherkashina, a member of the Pobeda Union, addressed the audience from the stage.
All guests were treated to a loaf and homemade drinks. Among the first participants in the trade were employees of the Tomsk Forestry College. They presented a variety of seedlings of fruit and berry and ornamental trees and shrubs. Farmers and owners of personal subsidiary plots brought poultry, rabbits, cattle and horses.
- We needed a market as a place where you can always buy farm products. We are actively working with online platforms. So, our group in Odnoklassniki has more than 4 thousand members, there are groups in VK and WhatsApp. But live trading has always had its advantages over electronic sales. Especially when the product is farm products ., which you want to try and evaluate in person, - commented the chairman of the Pobeda SSPK Maxim Gusev.
- For three years, our farmers have been building a market. To do this, they had to win a federal grant, invest their own funds, their work and their soul in a new business. Now we can only wish them: good luck! - Alexander Mikhkelson, head of the Shegarsky district, said at the opening.
