Agricultural enterprises of the Penza region produced 224.7 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, 144.2 thousand tons of milk, 83.8 million chicken eggs

According to official information from the territorial statistics service in the Penza region, in January-July 2021, agricultural organizations produced 224.7 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight.
During the reporting period, agricultural enterprises produced 144.2 thousand tons of MILK, which is 23% higher than the production figure for the same period last year.
Milk yield per cow in January-July 2020 amounted to 5403 kg, which is 8.4% more than in January-July 2020.
During the reporting period, 83.8 million chicken eggs were received in the region. The production indicator exceeded the indicator of the same period last year by 6.8%.
