The new livestock complex is designed for 2,300 heads; this is the second stage of a large-scale investment project that was launched in the region at the end of 2013. Then the largest robotic farm in Europe began to work in the Ryazan region. The new complex includes a milking and dairy block, a maternity and dry department, barns and calves, a complex of silage and haylage trenches, a veterinary block, and other necessary premises and communications. The volume of investments amounted to 1.52 billion rubles. it is planned to produce 19.6 thousand tons of MILK per year on the new farm. The implementation of the project has created 57 jobs.
As part of the opening ceremony of the new complex, Governor Nikolay Lyubimov and General Director of Vakinskoye Agro LLC Sergey Turta launched the new milking machine by pressing the start button. Today this equipment is one of the best in RUSSIA, such milking has become the second in the country. “It is very important that we continue to open new state-of-the-art well-equipped farms, according to all world standards. For us, these are additional capacities, additional jobs, taxes and investments,” said Nikolai Lyubimov. - The project is very large and it continues to develop, the plans include the creation of the third stage. We supported him and will continue to do so."
The governor expressed confidence that in the near future Vakinskoe Agro will reach a milk yield of 56,000 tons of milk per year. “This is a very serious figure for our region, for the whole of central Russia,” he stressed. To date, the company is already among the top three regional leaders in terms of gross milk yield. The HEAD of the region emphasized the organization of a closed production cycle, when the enterprise's raw materials are processed at its own plant. “It is extremely important that here the milk is processed on site, that is, finished products are created from it, which are then sold in stores throughout Russia. I would like all our milk producers to follow this strategy. Then all the added value remains here, on the Ryazan land,” said Nikolai Lyubimov.
The Governor stressed that the region pays great attention to the development of agriculture, and high rates have been achieved. In general, the productivity of animals in the region is now about 8 tons of milk per year per cow. “This is higher than the average Russian indicator, that is, our agricultural producers really know how to work and use all modern technologies,” he said. According to the head of the region, for 7 years in the Ryazan region, milk production has increased by 1.5 times. “The way the industry has been moving in recent years is encouraging that we can go from the baseline to a twofold increase in milk. This is real, perhaps and indeed our region is one of the best in Russia in terms of milk. We will go further and continue to support projects like Vakinsky Agro - they are very important,” said Nikolai Lyubimov. The governor noted that both large projects and small farming projects can count on support. “There are a lot of plans, but the most important thing is that they are all being implemented,” the Governor summed up.
