In the Rostov region, the implementation of a number of investment projects for the construction of new and expansion of existing agro-food production continues. The situation is regularly reviewed at meetings of the working group on investments and investment projects in the agro-industrial complex in the regional government and the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
“In general, today in the Rostov region, 33 investment projects with a total investment of almost 133 billion rubles are being supported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture,” said Viktor Goncharov, First Deputy Don Governor. - Of these, 17 projects are under implementation with a total investment of more than 21 billion rubles. In the nine months of 2021, 19.7 billion rubles of investments were attracted, an increase of 125% compared to the same period last year.”
Thus, in the seaport of the city of Azov, Azov Sea Terminal LLC is implementing an investment project from the list of "100 governor's investment projects" for the construction of a multi-profile transshipment complex for grain crops and general cargo with a capacity of 1.5 million tons per year with a possible increase to 2 million tons in year.
The project for the construction of a modern grain terminal was launched in 2019 and is being implemented in stages, increasing the transshipment capacity. Reaching design capacity - 2024.
As part of the project, the investor plans to increase the depth of the berths to 4-5 meters, which will allow not only river, but also sea vessels to enter the port. The project provides for the acceptance and processing of ships with a capacity of up to 5 thousand tons.
The total investment in the project will amount to 3.3 billion rubles, it is planned to create 150 new jobs.
The project received a positive conclusion from the environmental review. The documentation was submitted to Glavgosexpertiza.
As part of the project, construction and installation work was completed to create a weight room from the laboratory.
The Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food notes that the implementation of the project is fully consistent with the key priorities for the development of agriculture in RUSSIA and the Rostov region, is aimed at increasing exports and achieving the goals of the regional Strategy for socio-economic development until 2030, as well as the regional project "Export of agricultural products".
