More than 90 million tons of grain harvested in Russia

The harvesting campaign in RUSSIA is gaining momentum. As of August 31, farmers have already harvested 90.3 million tons of grain. Grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of ​​33.1 million hectares million hectares, which is higher than last year.

Including wheat harvested from an area of ​​21.8 million hectares, 65.6 million tons were harvested. In addition, 16.2 million tons of barley and 90 thousand tons of corn were harvested for grain.

The production of sunflower, rapeseed and soybeans is 196.9 thousand tons, 1.3 million tons and 63.3 thousand tons, respectively, and SUGAR beet - 2 million tons. 783.9 thousand tons of potatoes were dug up in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farmer) farms, and 1.2 million tons of open ground vegetables were harvested.

Agrarians in a number of regions have already begun sowing winter crops for the 2022 harvest. it is currently held on an area of ​​2.4 million hectares.
