In the Kama region, more than 50% of farm animals are insured

In the Perm Territory, there is a positive trend in the insurance of farm animals, the share of the insured livestock in the total number of animals is 53%. In 2023, 7.9 thousand conditional heads were insured, amounting to almost 90 million rubles.
it should be noted that in recent years, with support from the budget, the number of agricultural enterprises insuring farm animals has increased by 30%. Government support makes it possible to reduce the cost of agricultural insurance. Agricultural producers of the Perm Territory receive reimbursement of part of the costs of paying insurance premiums in the field of livestock farming, accrued under agricultural insurance contracts, in the amount of 50%. Subsidies in this area of ​​state support are provided from the federal and regional budgets next year.
To stimulate insurance, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture has provided an increasing coefficient for a number of areas of state support. In the Kama region, this norm also applies, in particular, if an agricultural producer has insured his dairy livestock, an increasing coefficient will be applied when part of the costs are reimbursed from the budget. This support measure is used by agricultural enterprises both from the south of the region and from the northern part of the Kama region, for example, from Bolshesosnovsky, Kungursky, Ordinsky, Karagaysky, Kishertsky districts.
