To date, 4.8 thousand hectares have been sown, of which 4.3 thousand hectares are cereals (wheat - 4.1 thousand hectares, including 2.9 thousand hectares of durum varieties). 520 hectares of industrial crops have been sown, including 480 hectares of mustard, 40 hectares of SUGAR beet,” Roman Kovalsky, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, Minister of Agriculture of the Region, said today at a permanent meeting under the Governor of the Region.
Horticulturists of the Khvalynsk region are laying fruit nurseries, 20 hectares have been planted.
The harrowing and top dressing of winter crops continues. Harrowing was carried out on an area of ​​119.5 thousand hectares in 12 districts of the region, 385 thousand hectares of winter crops were fed from the plan of 633 thousand hectares.
