Quality checks of dairy products continue in the Moscow region

Employees of the laboratories of the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region have conducted more than 4.7 thousand studies since the beginning of 2021 as part of monitoring MILK and dairy products for quality and safety indicators. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Sergei Voskresensky.

“Before getting on the shelves of stores, all dairy products coming from agricultural producers in the Moscow region must undergo laboratory tests for quality and safety. Over the first half of the year, more than 4.7 thousand samples of milk and dairy products were tested,” Sergey Voskresensky said.

The Minister recalled that in 2020, more than 10.6 thousand samples of milk and finished dairy products were tested, in 353 samples non-compliance with the requirements was revealed.

“As part of the research, a discrepancy was found in 130 samples. Low-quality and falsified dairy products are not allowed on the consumer market,” Sergey Voskresensky said.
He added that according to the results of the research, it can be concluded that residents and guests of the region receive high-quality agricultural products from the Moscow Region.
