A potato storage facility for 60 million investments will be built in the Moscow region

In the Taldom urban district, the construction of a new potato storage facility is being completed.
“In the Moscow region there is a need to increase the capacity of vegetable storage facilities - every year the volume of harvested crops in the region increases . The new potato storage facility in the Taldom urban district will allow storing 3,500 tons of products. Investments in construction amounted to more than 60 million rubles,” said Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government Georgy Filimonov, who supervises the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
In addition, the site will also have a sorting area.
The construction of a potato storage facility in the Taldom district will create an additional 15 jobs.
The project is being implemented by Valmiks LLC, a seed farm for growing seed potatoes.
